As an Airbnb host, Anthony faced the frustrations of the inconvenience of physical key exchanges, especially when guests wanted to check in at odd hours. As such, he wanted to enhance the experience of both hosts and guests and therefore set out to eliminate such problems. Together with his partners, he founded igloohome, with a simple vision to create a world without keys.
Anthony loves to tinker with technology and is a dreamer of a connected world. He relishes the occasional data science problem, and can be found enjoying long evening runs along the beaches in Singapore.
Anthony has a Masters from Stanford University specialising in big data, and a First Class Honours from Imperial College in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Connect with Anthony hereWith over 15 years of experience in software development, Kelvin spearheads all engineering aspects of the business with an innovative tech approach, keeping the company technologically sustainable while maintaining its competitive edge.
In 2015, Kelvin co-founded igloohome with Anthony. They wanted to offer short term vacation rental hosts a new way to manage their guests that was convenient, safe and cost-effective to bring the joy back into welcoming guests.
Kelvin was pivotal in the creation of igloohome's unique proprietary algoPIN™ technology. It enables the locks to be highly secure while being able to operate remotely without the need for WiFi connectivity unlike other existing products in the market.
Prior to this, Kelvin was Chief Technology Officer of HungryGoWhere, a restaurant review and ratings app that was successfully acquired by Singtel in 2012.
Kelvin graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters with Honours in engineering and a Distinction certificate in intellectual property law.
Over two decades of project management experience in multinational corporations, Steven spent most of his career on product development - specializing in design and manufacturing.
Prior to joining iglooco, he took on the role of a program manager in Rockwell Automation. Steven built his career from a software programmer in Reuters, and a system engineer at Infineon, before he decided to switch things up to focus on project management in 2007.
Well-versed in project management methodologies and product innovation, Steven now takes on the role as our VP in Operations. Using his extensive experience to lead not one but three departments - PMO, R&D and Operations team, Steven strives to lead with excellence. Outside of being an igloohomie, he can be found enjoying family time with his wife and his 10-year old son!
